Precarious affections - An ode in retribution of love much lost....

I intend to let you know,
how much I love you,
despite,
your feigned ignorance,
and I shall make your
life miserable
till you drop
that exaggerated pretense.

You thought
you could move on,
get by,breezing past
like I were thin air
that your couldn't see?
Mistaken as you are
and pay you shall.
Only this time
not with rotten,
dated notions of romance
fed to a gullible me.

Don't you see
Why I am doing this?
Out of love.
Love ;
Indeed,you'll see.
The very one you
faked,and
there shall be no letting go,
till you come
back,crawling
on all four.
Begging me back in your
life unto death,
this time in earnest,
going down,
down on your knee.

Remember,
the other day?
when you chided
in passing-A coward-
to not go after
what I wanted?
Well,you better leave
a good eye to
watch your back
because I am right there
making sure you forfeit
every blessing
you thought
you had counted.

I intend to let you know,
how much I love you,
despite,
your feigned ignorance,
and I shall make your
life miserable
till you drop
that exaggerated pretense.

  2. The poems published in this month more or less marks a new begining or phase in your poetic life. It appears the poetess has finally come out of her ..and ventured into territories...unexplored by her so far.... unvisited by her so far..unknown to her so far. All along there were poems conveying a lost feeling, a given up attitude, a attitude which decides to accept the facts and move on discarding it's past. A feeling of let go,looking forward to the future with hope, a message to forget the past and not strive to get it back, a mind set of accepting things as they have happened & not trying to do something. For the first time, with these series of poems it appears she has taken a different route, an all together new out look which doesn't want to accept defeat, which will look forward to gain what it has lost and what rigt fully belongs to it. An attitude to not let go but to pursue and get it!! Once again she has excelled in her writings on this aspect with her excellent description. The poem's easy flow makes it a classy work. Since its more close to reality makes it a good piece of work , appears to have a personal shade in it. Thats what would strike the reader most.

Though a good read appears one sided, some where gives the feeling that only one perspective has been depicted and makes feel that the character may be suffering from a victim mindset, self pity and a feeling of being wronged without looking into the reasons or analysing what could have gone wrong. These aspects should have been covered too to make it a great piece of work, anyways a good read.

The sudden change in perspective makes one curious as to what could have promoted a sudden shift in the out look and perspective!!!
